Publié à l?occasion de la dernière action de JR à Paris sur la façade de l?Opéra Garnier, à l?automne 2023, ce livre regroupe et présente les projets de collages architecturaux que JR réalise à Paris depuis 2009. Des installations photographiques qui entrent en relation avec la ville et ses monuments allant de la disparition et de l?excavation de la pyramide du Louvre au recouvrement des façades du Panthéon et de l?Opéra Garnier, des quais de l?île saint-Louis et de la Tour Eiffel. Autant d?incursions urbaines qui s?inscrivent dans une collaboration directe avec le public, à la fois auteur et spectateur. JR-Paris propose un parcours dans l?oeuvre monumentale de l?artiste et témoigne de l?impact qu?ont eu ces interventions sur la paysage parisien offrant un regard inédit et spectaculaire sur les monuments patrimoniaux iconiques de la ville.Published on the occasion of JR's last action in Paris on the façade of the Opéra Garnier, in autumn 2023, this book brings together and presents the architectural collage projects JR has been producing in Paris since 2009. These photographic installations engage with the city and its monuments, from the disappearance and excavation of the Louvre pyramid to the covering of the facades of the Panthéon and Opéra Garnier, the quays of the Île saint-Louis and the Eiffel Tower.
