"Mon travail se déploie de la photographie plasticienne à la photographie thérapeutique. Ces deux dimensions se nourrissent l'une l'autre et ont pour point commun la relation au corps. A la croisée de ces deux pratiques, pendant sept années, j'ai photographié et interviewé des hommes et des femmes sans apprêt. J'avais le désir profond de célébrer la dimension sacrée du corps, d'accompagner chacun à s'offrir un regard bienveillant et de contribuer ainsi à changer les représentations.. C'est un projet à la fois photographique et humaniste : le livre rassemble 80 photographies et 15 témoignages des personnes photographiées pour ce projet. Il était important pour moi de donner une voix aux personnes photographiées ; leurs témoignages participent à la dimension sensible et à la portée réparatrice inhérente à ma démarche. J'ai pensé l'ensemble tel un récit de résilience, d'inclusivité, d'amour de soi, d'acceptation, de solidarité, d'espoir..." Isabelle Chapuis. . For seven years, at the crossroads of these two practices, I have photographed and interviewed men and women without preparation. I had a deep-seated desire to celebrate the sacred dimension of the body, to help people look at themselves with kindness, and in so doing, to contribute to changing representations.. It's both a photographic and humanist project: the book brings together 80 photographs and 15 testimonials from the people photographed for the project. It was important for me to give a voice to the people photographed; their testimonies contribute to the sensitive dimension and restorative scope inherent in my approach.
