This book examines the identity of Spanish architects in the early 21st century and the light of their gaze. The work compiles a series of images spanning over ten years of work, 2002-2014, executed without intention, recovered from the archives of closed files. They narrate the work, an impatient and intense time full of tension. A beautiful place filled with sounds and aromas. The light conditions our interpretation of reality in a game of continuous gradients differentiating fragments or complete scenes depending on how we occupy the world. These photographs are bom from the everyday, they cannot be planned or commissioned, they are fragments of the life of the architect.All architectural work uses a "Book of orders" for its execution. This project too uses it as the starting point for research on visual perception, thus transforming the book into experience. In a simulation of how we view reality, it reflects what happens when several people are within the same space individually foxing their attention on different aspects of the location, or when someone facing a scene is able to distinguish different scenarios. This playful use of light gradients highlights the inexistence of a sole reality and how each gaze is an interpretation, a triple set of lights: physical light which allows us to see; the light of the mind which shapes our approach; and the light of consciousness which allows us to understand.
