Love, heartache, pleasure, pain— Elle Pérez has emerged as a defining voice of their generation, collecting over the past decade a trove of deeply personal and arresting images of vulnerability’s rawest materials.

For our October 2026 Aperture PhotoBook Club gathering, Aperture’s executive director, Sarah Meister , will join the artist alongside Catherine Opie , photographer and educator to discuss Pérez’s first monograph, Devotions (Aperture, 2026).
